family and Professional Resource Library - containing
video training materials and written materials, along
with a computer with internet access - is
available at Goldman Child Development Center for area
professionals and families. Over 1,000 volumes and
kits are available for check-out. Families may access
the computer during
center hours. |

| SpecialCare
- a joint training effort by early interventionists from
the Arc and Child Development Resources in VA, which
provided training for local child care agencies. |
TACTICS
- a project which helps early intervention agencies
develop their capacity to meet children's needs in their
natural environment. |
Two
classrooms of older preschool children participate in
the SPARK (Skills Promoted through, Arts, Reading and
Knowledge) project. This federally funded project
through the Univ. of Illinois teaches early literacy
through the use of diverse children's literature and
activities. |
